There are times when I try to repair it by myself through Naver intellectuals or YouTube. Even if the symptoms of failure are the same, the causes may vary, so there are cases where you misdiagnose and change other parts. In some cases, the parts purchased without considering compatibility and the parts of the computer are not compatible.
As in the following cases, the accessory (power supply) that we thought was faulty may experience an initial failure (intermittent). These days, there are rare initial defective parts. If you have replacement accessories, you can continue testing by replacing them, but if you don't have replacement accessories, self-repairing is not easy.

These days, information disclosure on the Internet is more active than before, so more and more people are trying self-repair, so try simple things such as poor connections at home, and if it doesn't work out, customers come. = Complex repairs seem to come in. Occasional failure symptoms such as once a day, twice a day, once a week, and once a month can be repaired, but the symptoms may take too long to be received.

This computer has two intermittent bad symptoms.
(First failure symptom)
0. This is a full-change power supply of Micronix Classic II, which I purchased and replaced by myself because I suspected a defective power supply.
1. There is a symptom that the fan turns off while rotating.
2. Symptoms are the same after removing memory. I heard that you've been re-installed with Windows and replaced with a new memory.
The computer is being checked at the time of initial warehousing. Removing the memory still has the same symptoms.

3. The ASROCK H110M-DGS motherboard only has contact points as shown below instead of the CMOS clear jumper. Press the long rose or flat-blade screwdriver and short-circuit the terminal to clear the CMOS. (Clear CMOS PAD = Simos Initialization Pad) Sometimes, when the main board is dead = down, it can be revived by clearing (reset). Even if the CMOS PAD is bridged, the symptoms are the same.

4. We are planning to remove the main board from the case and conduct a test outside.
We are going to test the main board separately from the case. Connect to my power supply for testing and proceed with the test.
When connected to a test power supply, memory is not installed, a beep code is generated, and the fan is still rotating.

7. To check the newly purchased and replaced power supply, the customer disconnected it from the case and connected it to my test main board H410M to proceed with the test => The screen is output normally => My test main board has no defective symptoms and the screen is turned on well. It's troublesome if the symptoms go back and forth. It is good to repair that the same symptoms continue to be implemented (reproduced).
The screen appears normally when I connect the power supply of the customer who is presumed to be abnormal to my motherboard.
8. After repeated attempts to turn it off and on several times, I found that my motherboard (H410 chipset) also has the same symptoms as your motherboard as shown below. => Repeated defect symptom that is presumed to have an initial defect problem with the power supply. To be more accurate, there is a way to ensure that the third motherboard also has the same symptoms, or to install a different power supply on the guest motherboard to verify the symptoms. I also need to look for the original problem that you were trying to repair on your own, so I replaced my power supply on your motherboard and tested it.

9. New Zalman Eco Max 500W Power Supply. The entry into Simos mode is going well as shown below.
I checked that it enters the Simos screen after replacing the power supply.
As above, intermittent defect symptoms were diagnosed as initial failure of the power supply, and the power supply decided to discuss with the supplier. Office Computer = I replaced it with a new power supply because it's a computer that I have to be used the next day.

(Second Failure Symptom) The process of finding the original failed part
1. There was a symptom that the blue screen appeared as below. Checking the blue screen code. I can't memorize everything, but I also search the Internet and look for the code. The information posted on the Internet can only be seen in a large picture that shows the approximate problem, but it is difficult to know the detailed problem. You should cross-check one by one until symptoms appear.

This is the original symptom of self-repairing. You have previously received Windows reinstallation service and have replaced memory and power supply. This customer came to our store because the problem was not solved. Since the other computer owner has changed the suspected components (probably not the problem), it may be easy to work from the position of taking over. (There is less scope to check.)
I don't think the other boss couldn't fix it because he didn't have the skills. If you don't get bad symptoms right away during the inspection, you can't keep holding on to one job. Anyone can be in a similar situation if they can't think of a new idea. The person who takes over the job has an opportunity to see it differently with the efforts and help of the previous worker. Since I don't have to try "trial and error," I can watch it more intensively, so I get help secretly. (Reinstalling Windows, most likely not a memory problem, so you can focus on other things.)
For now, I thought there might be a driver compatibility problem with the graphics card, so I installed the latest version of the driver version of the graphics card. I'm checking the symptoms by operating the graphics card test program. => Symptoms often occur occasionally, but the graphic play of the 3D game screen below did not show any symptoms.

The Intel CPU diagnostic program checked for normal CPU status. PASS is not all-around, but I'm basically watching all the programs that I can check.

Since your CPU is equipped with an i5-7400 CPU with built-in graphics and is for office use, you have decided to remove external graphics with intermittent bad symptoms and use Intel built-in graphics on your motherboard. It's a long article that's not easy to summarize. It takes 5 to 10 minutes in writing, but I checked with the customer for 2 hours because the symptoms didn't come out well.
(There are no customers waiting, so we can check with them. Waiting guests, it's not easy to check with customers like this if there's a repair. It is an assembled computer that was released from 2014 to 2015. i7 4th generation CPU-equipped computer. The motherboard ASROCK Z-Series (Z87 Extreme4) is installed. I didn't use an air-cooler before, but it also comes with a 92mm two-fan tower type air-cooler.
Basically, we are checking the parts that can be checked. The symptoms are the same even if you check what you can check without disassembling.
Carry out a basic check with the case mounted.
The symptoms are the same even if you remove the main board from the case and test it with the CPU+ main board. Sometimes the main board dies and the CPU also fails, so I need to make sure your CPU is OK before I install it.
I'm testing my motherboard to determine the CPU is OK.
Before I plug your CPU into my test motherboard H81 board, I test my motherboard to see if it's OK with my CPU. My CPU is also the 4th generation Refresh Celloron CPU G1840. Since the customer's CPU specifications are high, we checked the ASRCOK homepage to see if it is recognized as a motherboard bios and installed the customer's CPU.
My test motherboard is H81M-VG4 R3.0. I was confused because the version I found on the homepage was H81M-VG4 (the one with nothing on the back). Even if it's the same model name, the bios version is different if the later version is different. Since there are so many product models, I can't memorize them all and it can be confusing.
My test motherboard (H81M-VG4 R3.0) shows that the refresh CPU is recognized even if I don' The R3.0 version was released late, so it seems to have been released with a final update.
You are checking the homepage for a list of compatible CPUs with the BIOS version. Some motherboards do not recognize the refresh family of CPUs.
I also tested the graphics card. Since the customer's CPU is normal, there is a low possibility that it will be bad even if I install my test CPU, so I will test your motherboard for the last time. The symptoms are the same even when the test CPU is installed on the customer's motherboard and powered on. The symptoms are the same even if the motherboard is tested alone. => The motherboard is bad.

The power supply of your computer is a process to verify that it is normal. I'm plugging in my CPU+mainboard and trying to boot it. I checked that the screen appears normally.

This is a bad computer on the main board. Due to the high specifications of the i7 CPU, the power supply is a little unstable to use on the low-end main board (H81 chipset) I had for testing, so I think it would be better to replace it with a board with a good power source, such as a B85 chipset or H87.
High-end motherboards such as Z87 and Z97 are difficult to obtain used products because the number of products sold is small, but it is more expensive than the model year and has many functions, so B85 chipsets are suitable. There is also a way to buy the main board used and replace it. There is a way to upgrade and repair the new motherboard + CPU + RAM.

This is a 2-dongtan computer repair case that you found after searching on the Internet and YouTube and having other symptoms after self-repairing. I remember the first symptom as a symptom that the screen doesn't show. When I checked the computer, there were three problems in total.
(1) Bad memory connection
You tried to reseat the memory. It may not be easy to install memory where there is no lever because it has only one lever of the RAM slot on the main board of this computer. Even if the levers are on both sides, it's different to watch the video and do it yourself, so how specifically did the video explain "to the process that could fail"?In some cases, refitting may not be easy.
I don't feel like doing it for the first time after hearing and watching the video, so I may not have applied my know-how properly. Just as not everyone succeeds in every field at once, there is a process of failure-mistake. Why is it so hard to install that memory? You may think it's nothing, but when you first learn a computer, it can be hard to hold your mouse and click in place. It's not hard to repair a computer, but not everyone can do it, so there's a local computer repair shop like me.
When first received, the memory is not fully seated in the slot.
I plugged in both memory cards and checked that the screen was output.

(2) Motherboard 24-pin cable disconnected
There is a second failure symptom. You told me that if I touch the cable with my hand, the computer will turn off. So, I also checked the connection status of the 24-pin power cable. The latch is not caught and is placed in the slot as shown below. Hold the latch next to the 24 pin! You need to press it. It may turn on even if the connection is bad, but it is an assembly defect that can cause additional symptoms such as turning off or not turning on while using it. (It is believed that the 24-pin cable was not properly installed during the self-checking process.)
Press the main power line 24-pin connector on the motherboard to fasten it. There's a sense of clasping.
(3) The monitor screen is outputted as a built-in graphic.
The third symptom is an external graphics card, but the monitor screen is not output. And the keyboard's number lock LED will turn on/off. When I connect the monitor cable to the built-in graphics card, the Simos screen is printed out. There are also symptoms where the graphics card is not properly recognized.
I have an external graphics card, but I can't output the screen to the monitor. When I look at the number lock LED response on the keyboard and connect it to the built-in graphics, it enters Simos mode.
We have removed the customer's graphics card and connected the test graphics card to make sure that the graphics card slot on the motherboard is working properly. If you disconnect the internal graphics as shown below, the screen will still be displayed on the external graphics card. Your graphics card also appears to be a symptom of poor access. (The external graphics card is an additional graphics card (part with two left fans in the picture) in the graphics card (VGA) slot on the motherboard.
Your graphics card doesn't print out the screen, so I'm checking the VGA slot operation of the main board with my graphics card installed.
(Additional explanation) The integrated graphics card is the default graphics card included on the motherboard. The built-in graphics card is one body with the CPU. Intel has CPUs that end in an F shape or CPUs for servers that do not have a built-in graphics card chipset. Output is not possible even if the output port is present on the main board.
AMD is when a model with a G on the CPU model is packaged with a built-in graphics card.
I cleaned and refitted the graphic card contacts to see that the screen appears.
[(1) RAM connection, (2) 24-pin connection, (3) graphics card connection] They found these three symptoms and solved them. If symptoms appear clearly and continuously, symptoms can be checked well, so it is a convenient defect to repair. Intermittent defects can be repaired when symptoms are present, so it takes a lot of time to implement symptoms (find patterns).
There are cases where you can receive it, repair it, and take it right away (if the symptoms are clear and the main board does not need to be disassembled), and in some cases you need to leave it there. (If there are customers who come first to check, if they are behind schedule, if there are no signs of failure, if there are no replacement parts, if the computer needs to be disassembled and tested one by one, etc.)
If you leave your computer behind, there are some people who are anxious, so you may want to come to the store and wait for it, but if it's a simple problem, it can be solved within 10 minutes when you register. If you don't think you can solve it after checking it in 10 minutes, we're going to come first, repair the customer's computer we left behind, and then proceed with the work in order.
